An EICR is a detailed safety assessment of your electrical installation. Think of it like an MOT for your electrical system. It identifies fire risks, electric shock hazards, overloading issues, deterioration of wiring, and any non-compliance with modern regulations. This report is a legal requirement for rental properties and an essential safety check for any home or commercial premises.

Your inspection includes a full check of all circuits, the consumer unit, earthing and bonding arrangements, RCD protection, and system performance under test. You receive a detailed written report with clear C1, C2, and FI coding, alongside professional advice on any remedial work required. Certification is typically issued the same day.

Our EICR’s are charged at £100 per consumer unit and £25 per circuit. Additional consumer units are £40 each. That’s it! To work out the number of circuits just simply count each mcb (miniature circuit breaker) or fuse in you consumer unit (fuseboard).
